These Terms and Conditions apply to any order you place with us through the Site. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by them.
2. Our products
We sell herbal teas and related botanical products. Our products are food products, not medicines. Product descriptions on the Site refer to the traditional use of herbs in European herbal practice; they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. See our individual product pages for ingredient-specific information and any applicable warnings.
If you have allergies, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking medication, or have an existing medical condition, please read the product information carefully and consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are unsure.
We make reasonable efforts to display product information, weights and packaging accurately, but slight variations (e.g. packaging design, batch appearance) may occur.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£). Herbal tea and related food products are zero-rated for VAT in the UK, so no VAT is added to the price shown for these items, even though DOLCHE LTD is a VAT-registered business (VAT number 376953347). Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.
We accept payment by the methods shown at checkout (for example, debit/credit card and PayPal). Payment is processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe and/or PayPal); we do not store your full card details on our servers.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct at the time they are published. If we discover a pricing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
4. Order acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy from us. We will send an order confirmation email, but this does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your order (or otherwise confirm acceptance in writing). We may decline or cancel an order, for example where a product is out of stock, there is a pricing or listing error, or we suspect fraud — in which case we will notify you and refund any payment taken.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. Delivery costs and any estimated timescales are shown at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates, not guaranteed, unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided.
6. Your right to cancel (UK consumers)
If you are a consumer ordering from within the UK, you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, and to receive a refund.
To cancel, contact us at info@dolchebotanicals.co.uk quoting your order number, before the 14-day period ends. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel, at your own cost, unopened and in a resaleable condition where reasonably possible.
Exception for hygiene-sealed and perishable goods: because our products are food items, once a package has been opened/unsealed after delivery, it may no longer be eligible for return on hygiene or food-safety grounds. We will offer a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate.
