Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is one of the most familiar herbs in Europe and has been used for centuries in European herbal traditions. It has traditionally been associated with urinary wellbeing and general vitality, and nettle has long been a traditional spring herb in European kitchens. This pure single-herb tea is prepared by Agrokarpaty in Slovakia.

The Herbs

Nettle is a tall, leafy perennial found in hedgerows and woodland edges across Europe. Once dried, the leaves lose their sting completely and make a deep-green, savoury infusion that has been a traditional household tea for generations.

Flavour & Character

A naturally earthy, savoury infusion with gentle green notes and a smooth finish. Enjoy it on its own, add lemon or honey, or blend it with peppermint or chamomile for a softer cup.
