Common mallow (Malva sylvestris) has been used for centuries in European herbal traditions and is particularly valued for its soft, soothing character. These whole dried blossoms are hand-picked in the Pieniny mountains near the High Tatras in Slovakia and prepared by Agrokarpaty.
The Herbs
The deep purple flowers of the Moorish variety of common mallow (Malva sylvestris var. mauritiana) are naturally rich in mucilage, which has long made mallow a valued herb in traditional European herbal practice. Once dried, the blossoms turn the infusion a striking blue or violet.

A delicate, mild infusion with sweet, grassy and gently woody notes, and a beautiful blue-violet colour. A slice of lemon turns the cup pink.

How to Prepare
- Place one teaspoon of dried flowers in a cup or teapot.
- Pour over 200ml of freshly boiled water.
- Infuse for 10 minutes, then strain.
