This herbal fruit infusion brings together two botanicals that have been gathered for centuries across Europe: sea buckthorn and rosehip. Traditionally enjoyed during the colder months for general wellbeing, the pair makes a vibrant, naturally caffeine-free cup that works just as well hot on a winter afternoon as it does chilled over ice in summer. The tea is grown and prepared in Slovakia by Agrokarpaty.
The Herbs
- Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) fruit and leaf – a hardy shrub of European coasts and mountain slopes, known for its bright orange berries. It has a long history in Eastern European herbal traditions and is traditionally associated with general wellbeing.
- Rosehip (Rosa canina) fruit – the autumn fruit of the dog rose, traditionally gathered from European hedgerows for infusions and syrups and traditionally enjoyed during the colder months.
Flavour & Character
Bright and refreshing. The naturally tangy character of sea buckthorn meets the fruity, pleasantly tart flavour of rosehip. Enjoy it on its own or with a little honey, served hot or poured over ice.
