Cyprian Bronchial Herbal Tea comes from Elixir’s Cyprian’s Apothecary range, named after Brother Cyprián (1724–1775), the herbalist monk of Červený Kláštor in Slovakia’s Pieniny region. Inspired by the herbal heritage of the Pieniny and Zamagurie region, it brings together seven herbs valued for centuries in European herbal traditions. Cowslip, thyme, marshmallow and ribwort plantain have traditionally been associated with respiratory wellbeing, which makes this a popular warming cup during the colder months. The tea is produced by Agrokarpaty in Slovakia.
The Herbs
- Cowslip (Primula veris) flower – a traditional European meadow flower with a long history in herbal infusions, traditionally associated with respiratory wellbeing.
- Mallow (Malva mauritiana) leaf – naturally rich in mucilage and traditionally valued for its soft, soothing character.
- Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) leaf – a mucilage-rich plant traditionally valued in European herbal practice for its soothing properties.
- Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) leaf – a familiar meadow herb, traditionally associated with respiratory wellbeing in European herbal traditions.
- Thyme (Thymus) herb – an aromatic herb with a long tradition in European herbal infusions, particularly during the colder months.
- Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) herb and Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) flower – two classic European herbs, traditionally enjoyed for their gentle, calming character.

About Agrokarpaty
Pure Natural Plants
Agrokarpaty herbal teas are made from plants grown in the clean mountain environment of Slovakia’s High Tatras. Each blend is developed by specialists with long experience in traditional European herbal practice, using natural plant ingredients with no artificial flavours, colours or aromas.
Important Information
This blend contains yarrow and chamomile. Avoid it if you are allergic to plants of the daisy family (Asteraceae). Yarrow is traditionally avoided during pregnancy.
Mallow and marshmallow are rich in mucilage, which can slow the absorption of medicines taken at the same time. If you take oral medication, leave at least one hour between the medication and a cup of this tea.
