Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is one of Europe’s best-known wayside plants, and its leaves have been used for centuries in European herbal traditions. Dandelion leaf has traditionally been associated with digestive wellbeing and with the spring herbal practices of European households. This pure loose-leaf tea is prepared by Agrokarpaty in Slovakia.
The Herbs
The deeply toothed leaves that give the dandelion its name (from the French dent de lion, “lion’s tooth”) are gathered, dried and cut for infusion. Dandelion leaf has a long history as a traditional European kitchen and herbal plant.
